hey guys, i have a greddy TVVC MBC, and have had it for a coupl eyears, and have never had a problem with it at all.

but i recently got a new turbo and hooked it all back the way i had it, but when i make a pull in 2nd gear it goes to 18psi(where i want it) and then when i hit 3rd it DROPS to like 14-15, and fluctuates a bit then goes back to 18psi???


anyone ever experience this??

kinda like the opposite of boost creep i guess!

its happened with mine also. check for leaks if that doesnt help then get an ebc

I have had this problem on a bunch of cars I have tuned. The Turbo smart for some reason has done it the most. Turbo XS, hasn't done it yet. But that is just my experiences with them.

Phase Change Racing

Run a restrictor before the MBC (.035" usually works well) and your problems should decrease. This is a pretty common prob with grainger valve setups, takes a bit of tweaking to get em right sometimes. Just be sure to dial the boost way down before you start to dial it back in after you put the restrictor in.
