Default Any 99-00 Si's with MaxRev kit?

Is anyone running a MaxRev kit with their 99-00 Si's? If so, did you guys have any
clearance problems with the A/C lines? My lines seem to be getting in the way in two places. One, where the wastegate is. And two, where the compressor side of the turbo is. If you guys had these problems, what'd you do about it? Thanks.

You can either lose the AC, or push them out of the way. There isnt really a way to reroute your AC lines without alot of unecessary trouble.

I really really want to keep A/C though.

I guess I'll push really hard and hope nothing brakes. Although they don't look like they want to move much at all.

Thanks.

can you atleast get the turbo in there w/out taking out the AC? so basically you just have some rubbing issues then? keep in mind that the turbo and the wg will own the lines w/ the heat the will soon be exposing. try and use some zip ties or something to pull the lines back where they are touching the wg, but be careful not to damage the lines in the process.

I *think* I can get the turbo in. But the the A/C line is going to be rubbing against the compressor housing pretty hard. How hot does the compressor side of the turbo get? Unfortunetly the A/C line that's in the way is like metal and not flexible, so it's not easy to move and zip tie.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Will do. Thanks for the tip.

Update: After taking off a bunch of brackets, I was able to move the lines just barely enough to get the turbo in. Now I have look into modifying some of these brackets to make the lines stay where they are. More work than I expected but I'm happy as long as I can get boosted while keeping A/C.

yea make sure those lines arent touching the compressor, or the lines might melt onto the compressor.

gl and keep us updated.

I have plenty of pics of the kit on an Si that was installed last year. The car does not have a/c anymore but I can put up the pics still if you would like.
