Anti Lag-Its time to come clean

Ok guys, some of you know how to setup your cars via crome,hondata,neptune...etc etc to get boost with no load off the line. Its time to share the secrects since we are all in a caring car community. So, how are you guys setting up anti lag. Lets see some timing/fuel maps. Lets come clean guys! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

thats funny i was going to go play around with this today. I use uberdata, i believe you just turn it on in the misc. section... no?? In for some responses on this.

Whiteintegra 09-16-2006 10:21 AM

i don't know about uber, but on my crome pro. i don't see an option for any kind of anti lag. ive done a few searches on here, but i can't find any definitive info on how this works with crome/uber. Seems like people know how to do it with hondata, but not on other EM systems

DRIVENRacing 09-16-2006 10:53 AM

on hondata i setup my anti lag with +5 fuel enrichment and -20 timing... make about 10 psi of the line with the 4088r

my aem shit works very well hehe 22psi or more if i want it hehe. i have my map but am sure as hell not goin to post it on here.. i can email it but im not goin to post it

You guys are referring to launch control rev limiters. Anti-lag systems are used to maintain boost off throttle and are used a lot in rally cars.

Re: (daveG)

I currently use Crome and all i did was set the 2 step at 6000rpm, mash the gas and let it bounce a couple of times and it will build some boost. I usually see 4-6psi, which seem to be plenty for me right now.

Correct, the original poster did say off the line no load, but his title does say anti-lag. Is it possible for anti-lag using Uber... like what you were refering too?

Re: (coneheadsracing)

I stopped being lazy and went and turned mine on via uberdata. I don't really get any benefit from it, since my car is more for doing track days. I do go to the strip occasionaly and will def. give it a try there.

Anyways, d16 with a t3/t4 ford svo super 60 or whatever that turbo is https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif I have it set at the stock uber settings, moved all the boost cuts and what not out past my msd cut, and i can build about 5 psi. I need to turn it up though, cuz its too low to launch at for me using that. I'll play with it some more, pretty fun though, would definetly allow me to focus more on the tree instead of the tree and my rpm's though.

I didn't see any settings in my Chrome, but mine is just the basic one, as i haven't decided to move on from uber yet. So maybe the poster that said he uses it in chrome could elaborate a tad more https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Whiteintegra 09-16-2006 02:59 PM

i have crome pro and i don't see any kind of feature for anit lag or "no load boost".

Re: (Whiteintegra)

generally your timing will be in the single digits or less to get the flame out the exhaust chamber in order to spool the turbo, with a 10%+ increase in fuel.

Not the timing you drive on, the settings for the Lauch Control/Anti-Lag https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Re: (Whiteintegra)

With Uberdata you go into the "Ign Lo" tab. Select the RPM and about 1-2 columns nearing that RPM and load range.(I.E. 5001rpm-6001RPM and from 24.70in/hg to the very last positive pressure column 11.03psi on a 1.75 bar MAP). Take all of the ignition cells to about 5* timing. Go into the "Fuel Lo" and select the same cells and add about 15% more fuel. Now go into the "Rev limits" tab and select your FTL RPM (In this case it would be between 5001RPM and 6001RPM). Go into the Misc. tab and ensure that you "VTEC<20MPH" is NOT selected. Go back to the "Rev limits" tab and ensure that your VTEC enagagement/disengage is lower than your FTL RPM. Burn the .bin and enjoy the studder https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif .

....so im guessing this will apply to crome as well seing how the software is very similar.

We set it up on my 2.0ls last year and I was boosting 20-26psi at the launch!! yummy! lol

I turned my car over to Jack at P1 and let him work his magic.

can we possible get some graphs to look at?

Well that would make it too easy....., do what hondaguyef said above, he tunes cars.....

Re: (96 GSR-T)

how would this work? Will this hurt the motor or turbo at all?

Ive heard that Anti Lag isn't too good for the turbo, but im not sure if people are refering to the "rally style " anti lag or just drag anti lag. Im sure if your using anti lag at the track every once in a while it cant be too bad.

Re: (Whiteintegra)

Both launch control rev limiters in Crome and Uber are "Fuel Cut" rev limiters...you arent building any boost with a fuel cut, sorry.

The type of launch in AEM and the MSD box are a combination of fuel and ignition cutting which retards timing and adds unburnt fuel to begin combustion in the turbo manifold (instead of in the cylinders) which causes the turbine to spin and you build boost while there is no load on the motor, this certainly isnt great for the turbo for extended periods of time...but, F it https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Whiteintegra 09-18-2006 07:44 PM

....so are you saying that there is no possibility for boost off the line with ONLY crome or Uber?

vaporboy12 09-18-2006 08:01 PM

Re: (Whiteintegra)

you can build boost but it willnt be alot of boost maybe 5psi
