Default Another Turboed EF

We are putting together another Turboed CRX, we are expecting around 400hp and being a HF it should not take much to see some decent numbers out of this car.

Mods:
Eagle Rods
CP Pistons
Golden Eagle Block Gaurd
Gude Performance Head
GSR Cams
Edelbrock Intake Manifold
Full-Race Stage 1 Tubro kit
Full Race Traction Bar
Greddy Profec B
680cc Injectors
Walbro 255

I will let you know the numbers once we dynoed the car

Yeah love them to last setup we did in a CRX similar to this on 9psi did 300hp and went 7.55 in the 8th. Hopefully we will be tuning that for high boost here shortly.

Great to see another CRX boosted. What cable tranny are you running?

Yes, upgrade your brake master cylinder to a old school 88-91 Prelude's. It should be a 15/16th's.

Looks like you still have some room in front even with those Place Racing mounts.

I'm looking into getting a Full-Race crossmember for my NA ITR CRX. Which radiator do you plan to run?

The Radiator question well we where one of the first shops to do a full race kit on a CRX and yes it is a tight squeeze!! Luckily Full Race is a great company and helped out a lot on the Radiator setup. First we got a Full Race Traction bar for the car it did give us a little more room but not enough. The first radiator we received was hitting up against the down pipe, the second one was a custom radiator from PWR it was about half the size of a 93 civic radiator but a lot thicker, it fit perfect but when we had the car on the dyno the car was getting a little warm. Talked again with Full Race got a 93 civic half radiator from PWR and with some custom fab work got it to fit in there smoothly. That car on low boost did 300hp on 9psi, and ran 7.5 in the 8th hopefully we will get a high boost tune on that car before the quarter mile track opens up around here.

As for the current project its almost done here are some pics

Nice to see that you got it to fit the EF!!!

I really like the full race kit, and I think I am in love with their "backdoor" intercooler it's a sweat idea executed even sweater.

One question, I know it is a t3/t4 but what is the trim and the ar, also what size wastgate? Thanks. That setup is nice, can't wait to see the dyno!

Thank you for the reply.

Thats a nice turbo, it wold be great if you can post up the dyno sheet up when after it is tuned and all so we could compare to other T3/T4 combos (spool time and the tourqe curve at high rpm Is what I am mostly, interested in seeing.)

Good luck on the set up!

Stock GSR Cams and single valve springs

Yeah they are ractive plug wires thats what the customer had on there before my guess is we will have to change them when we start tuning the car, but I have seen a car go 12.8s with ractive wires
