Another Full-Race AC Manifold Installed
Well, I worked on Leadtrum's car this past weekend,
We installed a Full-Race AC mani, garrett t3/t04e(57 trim), Precision big boy IC, some **** IC piping(big headache), hondata, rc 550's, etc.
Well everything wasnt too bad, a little modifying since i was a jackass and didnt realize the 35 mm flange was wider than the 40mm so we had less clearance w/ the condensor. Regardless w/ a little messing around, i got about 1.0 inch clearance between the wastegate and condensor, I was lazy and didnt install ac back since its getting cool out, but it certainly fits:
Here are a few pics:
The 3 red honda's
More pics:
Not much clearance w/ the condensor w/ the 35 mm so we had to move it back some, but here is a pic before we moved it:
My favorite pic:
Leadtrum is thinking "how the **** is this IC gonna fit?!?!?"
Will Post more pics....i managed to get something lodged in my eye so this week has been a little wack. Car runs good, im betting we will see 300 whp soon . Its sounds damn good too, love it.
All in all, im not gonna lie, and neither will Geoff, the AC manifold takes a little more work than most, but its well worth it, it really didnt take much longer than most....just a tight fit w/ the condensor.
The worst part of the install was the IC piping (we wont talk about that) and fitting the big *** precision IC in the STOCK bumper
P.S. this isnt a complete Full-Race kit, just a kit I pieced together

very nice. I just noticed in the post you said that you now have about 1" of clearance between the flange and the condensor now. Looks good

We used the side parts of the bumper support to mount the IC, That was the strongest place possible.
as for parking lot installs, Lets see, that was my 3rd turbo kit, 2 alarm system install, 2 suspension installs, quite a few radios, and 1 jdm conversion install.
