Another boosted EG hits the streets *HomemadeTurbo*
This car started off with an 8 valve D15B8 swap. I quickly swapped that **** for a 16 valve setup and dropped an EX tranny into it. I knew a turbo wasn't going to be much fun with those long *** gears and a bottle neck head/intake/throttle body.
Here is the setup:
D15B8 block
D15B7 head/intake/throttle body
EX transmission
Stock CX exhaust manifold
CX-HF/T3 adapter plate purchased from WeirRacing
.48/.60 T3 originally purchased from Down2Turbo
Oil lines purchased from http://www.StealthmodePerformance.com and TunerToys
FMIC made by Custom Coach (CCA) http://www.speedpartsrus.com
Chipped P06 ECU by Projekteg
ECU running UberData
Silicone couplers purchased from StealthmodePerformance
Tuned with a Zeitronix Wideband setup.
Special thanks to HomeMadeTurbo.com
My grand total with the wideband setup was under $1000 complete. On with the pictures:

I'd be happy to be putting down 200whp. Right now the clutch is 100% toast and I can't really beat the hell out of it yet. We'll see how it does in a few weeks when I get the clutch in.

Not to burst your bubble, but the only thing wrong that i can find is your welds LOOK a bit sloppy. Then again as long as they hold and dont leak they are good weld.

Yeah, the thing about that downpipe was that flange was HomeMade. I couldn't wait for the right flange to get here so my roommate and I made one out of a square of steel. We didn't have the car at the shop so we just kinda eyeballed the angle on the pipe coming off the flange and it ended up fucked so we had to cut it and re-weld as a different angle. I have the new flange now to redo it, but it doesn't leak or anything so I might just leave it alone. I wleded the o2 bung for the WB with a 110 flux and it doesn't leak either.
Besides a shitty clutch that won't hold anything past 2nd gear it runs awesome. Launch control is the coolest thing evAr!

nice hmt setup! What is your compression with that motor setup? 200whp from that combo would be sick!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who felt that way. I mean for what it is, hmt, and for the price, the setup looks nice. Hopefully, it runs just as well. Good luck.

where the **** is your set-up? i garantee mine with the chain is running just as good.
8 pounds of boost safely is 8 pounds of boost, no matter how you look at it. its fully boosted by about 3800rpms, and carries all the way through. wtf is the matter with it?
