Default Aluminium vs. Stainless steel exhaust?

I have searched but got no answer. Ok; I was wondering which would be better for sound quality (ie; less noise) aluninium or stainless steel for an exhaust? I have a 2.5" DP and 2.5"exhaust. I want to upgrade to 3" DP/ exhaust!
I was thinking about going with Kteller 3" Exhaust Systems.

well, the melting point of aluminum is 1220 degrees, not the best for an exhaust system. just go stainless. the kteller is a nice system. also, what material its made out of wont affect sound quality.

Did you mean aluminized steel? Because no one makes an aluminum exhaust that I know of.
