Default Almost ready to turbo my d16 few questions

I've been doing a lot of research and searching and everything and so far this is the set up I've come up with I have about a 3-4k budget it started at 2500 but I know as the build will go on little things will pile up..
My goal is a streetable car that is close to the 300whp number

My plans are
A6 block bored 75.5 or 76
Vitaras
fjd I beams
Arp rod bolts
Oem bearings
Oem ported oil pump
New tbelt gaskets etc

Z6 head rebuilt
Stock valve train
skunk2 cam
Blox stage 3 camshaft

Fuel management
Dsm 450cc's
Walbro 255
Blox fpr
Tuned by either VIP performance or English racing

Cxracing turbo kit
http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant..._Code=JDMCivic

My questions are is a block guard going to be necessary?
What is a good clutch to run? It will be a cable si tranny.
And has anyone had good or bad experience with the obx LSD?
And should I expect to get around 300 on that turbo?

Thanks in advance this is my first experience with turboing a car but I've been reading a lot but if anyone has any useful links I would appreciate them

headstuds!!! and bigger injectors!! i

i dont think that turbo will do what you want.. i think it would put you in the low 250's
also i had the stage3 blox cam and switched to a delta 272-2 and picked up 15hp but i also saved alot of money..

there are alot of topics on the obx lsd just search.

as for a clutch i have had alot of problems with my act hd pp and 6puck.. i think i will be going with a action clutch or cc

lsdmotorsports clutch, act or comp.. I woudnt use that turbo kit personally and you can part together a turbo kit for cheap ... ill make some changes for you

My plans are
A6 block bored 75.5mm max (76mm will crack sleeves at low hp numbers )
Vitaras
fjd I beams
Arp rod bolts (come with FJ rods)
Oem bearings (ACL main and rods)
Oem ported oil pump.. (use a z6 pump)
New tbelt gaskets etc.. all oem
ARP head studs
OEM head gasket

Z6 head rebuilt
oem cam (oem is good till like 450 to 500 whp)
supertech springs, oem retainers

Fuel management
Precision 880's
Walbro 400
OEM fpr
Tuned by either VIP performance or English racing... who cares
Hondata S300 or w/e your tunner tunes on

I hope this helps and your looking like a noob trying to add parts when there not needed... as I showed you you should be good for like 500 hp

Use an hx35 or any used name brand turbo
tial wastegate
Tial, or turbosmart BOV
Precision or RC injectors

Most used stuff can be had for about 800 to 1000 bucks

I would not get that turbo kit for one, i know they sell that crap on ebay. They do not even mention who makes the BOV. I would look else where or piece one together yourself. Also if you have 3-4K why not swap in a bigger motor and start from there? I have a turbo D16Y8 so I am not one for telling people to swap but with 4G's at hand you could pick a B series motor for around 1500 - 2K and then you have 2K to buy a kit. Should you want to still go with an ebay kit like the one you choose. Up to you...

I agree!. Dump that ebay turbo kit, you will regret using it. I listened for once and didnot skimp on the turbo and engine management. Im so glad i listened. Go to TREADSTONE.COM. The prices are pretty reasonable and there entry level kits come with TURBONETICS turbos. There are other turbos to chose from as well.

Stock sleeves -- No block guard and no aftermarket sleeving required
Injectors -- If you want to make 300whp, you'll need at least 550cc. Some people might squeeze 300whp out of them, but it'll be pushing it
Turbo Kit -- I would research a bit more and piece together a setup. I've seen too many problems caused by cheap-o turbo kits. A simple log manifold and a 50 trim will make the power you want.
