Default This is for all you single cam guys running lots of boost!!

I have a D16y8 block at home! I plan on fully building it. I just have a few questions... how much have you guys seen the stock sleeves hold? I also want to know what manegment you guys are using. One last question i want to be able to rev the motor past 8 grand...bad or good? If good what cams, valves blah blah blah would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!!

Over 20psi. Sleeves are made of the same material as B-series sleeves, and I belive somebody mentioned they might even be a hair thicker.. the sleeves will hold provided you take care of everything esle.

i run 10 psi daily totally stock. run the hack also. don't rev the stock head to 8 grand...ecu will prevent it anyway at cutoff.

once you decide to build up bottom and head you could boost past 20psi and rev to 8 grand, but better have something like hondata.

I run about 10psi low and 14-15psi high on stock sleeves, cp piston, eagle rods and Hondata though.

I run mine up to 8K @ 10PSI all stock. As stated before as long as it's done properly (hondata) you shouldnt have any problems.

Shitty time for that much boost!

I run 10 psi daily on a fully stock motor with a tuned Hondata. I will most likely turn it up for the heck of it since a fully built motor is sitting in my house begging to be put in.
