did you have to always (for all people) have custom pipes made, or did you buy custom pipes such as the DRAG intercooler and intake pipes. and jsut went from there. i've been racking my brain trying to piece my own turbo and don't know where to start.

just that question and nothing else.

I bought mandrel bends from JC Whitney and am welding them together or silicone hosing them together.

you have tons of choices on what you want to do.


You can buy premade intercooler piping kits such as revhard,inlinepro,drag etc..

these range in cost from 300+

You on the other can also save money by buying intercooler piping bends from JC Whitney which is about 70-80 bucks for all the bends

you can use couplers and cut and fit your setup together or get it welded.

It dosent really matter were you start, I guess if you wanted to get the big things out of the way you could start with like the turbo, manifold, and downpipe. And then just go from there. Like I would also really try to get a good fuel management atleast the afc hack. **** fmu's ive always had bad luck with them. Also I wouldnt get the charge pipes till the end just so you can get them all to fit perfect. Just my .02!

I also got mine from jc whitney. Can't beat $60 for all the intercooler piping, plus i powder coat, so it'll be bing bling

I opted for the fake bling on my IC pipe...walmart hi-temp paint in a spray bomb.
