Default Air coming from oil filler cap - bad rings? - HELP!!

Tried searching, but couldn't find a definate answer ...

Just replaced the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals on the car. With the car idling, if I open the oil filler cap, there is a ton of air rushing out, to the point where I can't pour oil in without splattering everywhere. Is this normal? This can't be blow by can it?

Car idles and drives like normal. Can anyone help?

Its normal...and you shouldn't be putting oil in with the engine running.
