Aftermarket radiators on turbo lude...
Anyone know if a fluidyne or similar will have clearance problems on a 5th gen prelude running a fmax-based setup?? I may have the opportunity to get a pretty good deal on one but don't know if I'll be asking for trouble. The stock fan needed trimming to clear the compressor housing...I'm curious as to how much further the FAL fans project than the stockers.

You can always get electric fans and put them on the other side of the radiator so they push instead of pull. Heard they're a lot more efficient that way.

Billy tried to sell me his Fluidyne, but he said it was almost an inch thicker than the stock one. Yes, you can buy thinner fans, but you actually need thinner fans even without the turbo. I don't think it's going to work.

Hmmm...I might be able to do that. I think that I've got enough space in front of the condensor to mount fans. Now it just comes down to whether I get this deal...if I can score the radiator for cheap it might be worth it.
