after turbo install....car wont start
as tpoic states..
Stock B18c1
750cc injectors
255 walbro
s300
(car alarm...that sucks)
i will give you the run down step by step...
-pulled the tranny apart to install my clutch
-installed the clucth and put the tranny back together
-installed the turbo kit (which i have done tons of times)
-installed fuel pump.
-checked my tranny grounds and all other grounds
-wired all my gauges and boost controller (hondata BC) AEM Uego
cut r136&r138 for voltage on uego and wired d10 eld, wired bc to a11 and switched 12v
everything is ready to go went to start the car...wont start.
I rechecked my starter. all was good, except the starter signal wire. Im not seeing 12 volts at that wire. checked all the fuses all good. not sure if there is a starter relay? if so lmk.
i did re-install the alarm and got the same result.
hondata shows no check engine lights i loaded the correct map. im lost. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. TIA.
(hope i didnt leave anything out)

Can you hear the fuel pump prime?
So with no signal at the starter wire, I'm guessing you can't even get the motor to crank?

yeah fuel pump works. i should have said that,
yes the motor doesn't crank at all. while in start position everything seem normal, turn it on......nothing.
car used to be an automatic and doesnt need the clutch to be pressed to start.

Re: after turbo install....car wont start (97ekb18b)
thanks im going to re check them in the morning.
what about this...
i have boost solenoid hooked up to A11 and a switched 12v
i have d10 hook up to the wideband . i used the power from the wide band and boost gauge for another switched volt. is it possible that i shouldn't run the wideband off the same source as the boost? i think it would be good but im just taking stabs at anything.

direct positive from battery to start? and have you tried turning the car in the "on" position, taking a jumper wire from the start signal terminal on the starter and touching the 12v terminal on your battery? This will tell you if it's maybe just your starter.

I agree try jumping 12volts directly to the starter and see how it does. Somehow your starter might have taken a dump. You sure your battery isn't dead?

yeah hondata was hondata in the car. ran great.
before i left for work i got it started by jumping the starter signal. idle great. The only thin g that didn't seem to be working the way i thought it should was the uego. Talked with the previous owner and he told me that it happened to him before and told me what to do. It's a wire that he didn't solder together that comes lose by the clutch reseivor. Im a work, once i get home tomm from work i will update to see if it works correctly.

Re: (HybridcivicLS-T)
problem solved........
it's called horrible wiring. followed the signal wire back and found some wiring that was just "put together". i put thewires back together....started right up. thanks for the help. thats the bad thing about getting cars from people sometimes you get lazy things
