Afraid to go past 4000 rpm....need good fuel insurance for B18c1 turbo
I have a turbo kit t3/t4 hybrid with stock injectors, stock fuel pump and boost dep fpr. I have yet to even break 4000 rpms since I dont want to lean out.
I will be building up my ALL OUT turbo & motor little by little.....but for the meanwhile I wanted to know if the stock injectors and a 255lph fuel pump will handle 7-8 psi? OR would it be better INSURANCE to get used 270 cc or 310ccs? Remember this is only for the meanwhile and I wanted to do the least possible to get away with running 7-8 psi SAFELY. I dont want to end up wasting too much $ right now however I could spend a little money on a set of used injectors. I wanted to have a little fun running 8 psi and not risk leaning out thanks!

For the best reliable set up just ge tthe 310s, change the disk in the FMU, and then youll be totally safe. You can run with the stock ones but they are working hard.

this may sounds kinda ghetto, get a Air/Fuel ratio gauge...when you're in boost, make sure you are rich....
it's not too accurate for tuning, but for peace of mind that you're rich while under boost, is a pretty affordable solution...

I dont have FMU. I have a FPR....boost dependent. I think the stock inj with 255 lph fuel pump should be ok till about 9-10 lbs but Ill stay 7-8 lbs to be safe. Hmm EGT...good idea I need one anyways

Its a "no name" POS that came with Gen I Drag turbo kit and a Bosch inline fuel pump. Yes I had the kit back in 97....changed everything on it though except the FPR and BOV
