Default Afr readings and spark plug info

ok, just put my peakboost kit on my gsr and shes running great, but i have some questions, when i hit full boost, right when vtec engauges it breaks up, vtec is curently at 5500 my wideband is at about 12.3, i know for n/a cars 12.2 is a good wot reading, i was wondering what it is for a turbo car, i have a chiped ecu with a basemap for the setup, im going to get it tuned but dont have the cash right now so i want to do a safe self tune with my wideband i have 550 injectors and stock fuel pump (i know i know... i lost my 255 in my garage!!) is the stock fuel pump maxxed out?.... and also your suppose to go with colder plugs right? right now i have v powers bkr6e plugs, i forgot is it the higher the number the hotter it is or vise versa?

hahaha dude u gotta clean your garage out!!

12.2 is too rich for n/a cars.

go get bkr7e's, sometimes know to the people who work at advance/autozone as a 6097. gap them to like .030".

what boost are you running? also use a timing light and make sure you distributor is at 16*

i just street tuned my friends gsr with peakboost kit. his a/f is 11.8:1 right when he first builds boost, holds mid 11's in vtec and dips to just about 11:1 at 8200rpms.

i also have about 9/10 of a degree out per psi of timing, i think its 21.5* total at 9psi.

p.s. you should be able to lower your vtec to around 4800-5000. the manifolds flow well so you will benefit from the additional vtec rpms

haha yea i gotta clean it up, i always lose **** and it really gets aggrivating, i found the instructions for the pump but no pump, i use to work at advance, went there today to try to pick some plugs up but they couldnt tell me which ones were colder, i forgot my self and it has been bugging me all day at work... right now im pushing about 8psi, im pretty sure its detonating, my afr is at about 12.5 cruising and when i first built boost its goes up to about 12.2 then leans out to about hi 12s, i saw a 13 tonight on the gauge, i tryed cranking my fpr up but it runs so rich when normally driving

12.3 on 6-7 psi is fine for a/f but high 11's are better. that stock pump can handle 6-7 psi boost but thats pushing it. get the walbro in that baby, some 7's plugs and go get it tuned

what part of MD are you from? there are some decent tuners nearby the could give you a good street tune on uberdata/crome to get those afr's down a bit and make sure timing is in check. maybe some dyno time too if you want. but like everyone said grab some colder plugs (bkr7e), get the fuel pump in and stop boosting on that basemap for now. better safe than sorry.

im about 15 min south of mir, im going to go to tempest to get it dyno tuned but i dont have the funds right now, phearable.net made the basemap, im going to check the timing and put the plugs in when i get home, the only bad thing is its my daily driver
