Default AFC Hack - blue wire tuning on d16 turbo question

I just got a d16z6 into my 93 dx hatch. I built a junkyard turbo kit with some kind of small Nissan t3 and the AFC hack with dsm 440s non-intercooled for a couple weeks. retarded timing 1.5 deg and closed the gap on the plugs a bit too

I started with -30 all the way across but it wouldn't idle well until i set the 800rpm point to -15, i guess because the injectors take so long to open a such a low duty cycle. anyway I hooked up the blue wire mod and tuned for .90 to .93 under boost. from 4k up it is at -25, and -30 from 4k down.

It runs pretty well now but seems way to rich, lots of smoke boosting and horrible fuel mileage compared to other boosted hondas. I want to lean on the rich side (no pun intended) especially being non-intercooled but this seems too rich. could the 02 voltage be that far off? could my high mileage DX fuel pump not be up to the task? I need some more tuning tips besides 'go to a dyno' or 'buy a wideband'. what the plugs should look like, etc.... could using a leaner map for the low throttle help? maybe form 20% down or how about leaning it out before boost comes on at about 2.5k? sorry for the long post, I thought more details might help you guys help me. thanks

the correction is how much the map is corrected and therefore how much fuel is taken away from the injector. your correction is way too rich. you need something like -46 or -47 for idle and off boost to subtract enough fuel to get back to 240cc injectors. when you boost your corrections may be a little more rich into the -30's, but some of my corrections are not. mine are almost all in the -40's because i'm using a small turbo. to be safe i would set your boosted settings somewhere in the -30's and then take it to a dyno to be 100% certain.

If i go any leaner the o2 voltage drops to below 0.8. Could it be that the blue wire mod is not working properly? I know it seems really rich going by the correction numbers but the car runs well. I looked at the plugs today and they are a nice light grayish brown. My turbo is pretty small too. it spools way before 3k but it pulls all the way to 7k. did you tune your on a dyno? thanks for the input
