Aeromotive A1000 pump and street driving
I posted in the tech fourm with no responce, so i decided to post in the FI fourm. I am running a aeromotive a1000 pump with a 10gal fuel cell. I plan on taking it to the strip aswell as driving it on the street. I was reading on wiring it up and ran across this controller "aeromotive p/n 16302" "http://www.jegs.com/i/Aeromotive/027/16302/10002/-1 which aeromotive recomends when running this pump over 30min and/or with less than 10 gal. People with fuel pump, do you run this controller? Is it needed to prolong the life of the pump?

Re: Aeromotive A1000 pump and street driving
it is a safeguard to keep the pump from overheating while cruising. keeps the pump from working too hard when the demand for fuel is low.
many people have run w/o them.
