Default Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump wiring...need some help

I just installed my fuel cell and have all my plumbing for it done but I need some help with the fuel pump wiring. I'm using an Aeromotive A1000 pump. Aeromotive says to use 10ga. wiring for it but I have no idea what to do here. Should I go all the way to the source of the stock wiring and run 10ga. all the way back or can I do something else with the stock wiring right there? Any help is appreciated here. TIA.

Run 10 ga from you battery to a relay and use the stock line to triger it.

Yea I posted in both, wasn't sure who would know more...

But as for the relay I think I will do that, is there a diagram anywhere for wiring that up?

u should run the line straight from the alternator to a on/off switch then to the pump.Usin a relay will lower your current.I look it up on Jeff Evan website.

Got it all wired up tonight and it looks super clean. The only thing I used different is I used a 30amp relay instead of a 40amp, I still used a 30amp circuit breaker and 10ga wire for everything except for the stock fuel pump wire just for the trigger. Think the 30amp relay will be OK?

Aparently you didn't read the aeromotive link that I posted .The kit they sell comes with a 30 amp relay and 30 amp circuit breaker when using 10ga wire. So you using a 30 amp relay will be fine.

Yea, I read it, on the instructions it lists that it uses a 30 amp, but on the parts list it says a 40 amp, that's why I asked, I used the diagram they had.
