AEM Diaphram Failure - Still an issue? What causes it?

I had the new AEM regulator witht he enw diaphram with ball bearing etc etc. and it still blew it uot and held 0 pressure after a hard run. Had to replace with the ebst thing available at the time.. AEM... I'm waiting to buy a Aeromotive
