Action clutch user... do you find your clutch pedal engagement too low ?
I just posted here because I know that a lot of FI guys have an Action clutch.
Ok here is my problem maybe someone will be able to help me.
When I push on my pedal I have to do at least 2/3 of the travel to feel a pressure from the pressure plate... so I have like 2 inch of travel that I feel some pressure on the pedal...
Is it normal... ? I dont think so, with my old double pressure plate I was able to feel the pressure after just 1/2 inch of travel maximum.
Do you think that it could be the master cylinder ?? my car is a 1995 Civic SI/Ex and the MC is the original ( around 200 000 km ) I think that it could be an issue
Thanks a lot !! I have to find out this problem !

I have an action 1MS on my Accord - and if anything, the engagement is a little high, well higher than my last clutch. OTher than that, it's a good clutch - no complaints. Holds the boosted F22 great so far.
It sounds to me that you have air in your lines (it is hydraulic right? you mentioned the master cylinder). Either way, check your master/slave and make sure all air is out of the lines - took a while on mine.

yeah my clutch is hydro... and there is no air in the whole system I double chcked on that point.
Adjust the pedal... I will see what I can do but I think that im already at the end of the kind of pushrod...
What would the sign of a defective or worn master cylinder ??
