Re: (nello a.)
I got a electric oil pressure in my car and it accuracy is good, and I do recommend a electric meter over a mechanical meter because My freind has a mechanical meter and the hose that came with the meter broke and spell oil all over his dash.

know very little about fittings. what size an fitting will screw on to a 1/8 npt or 1/4 npt( if it will at all). i was going to buy a t fitting from tunertoys that has the 1/8 bst male for the oil pres. sender on the b16 ,one female 1/8 bst for the stock sensor, and two 1/8 (or maybe 1/4) female for the autometer sensor or hose. long story short, i like the fuller sweep that mech guages provide, but i dont want a mess all over my dash. that an fitting, stainless line idea sounds like the solution. can someone provide the knowledge?

And if you go to an NHRA track with good tech inspectors they won't even let you run, so what's the point?

i would definately go mechanical for a boost gauge, the response isn't fast enough with electrical. for the others, electrical all the way.

dont take the chance with mech. oil press. if you got in a bad crash and the line breaks it could catch on fire inside the car, just get electric

I don't trust electric oil or boost guages at all. I have never been in a car with electric guages that worked accurately, factory or aftermarket..I have no idea why..although I'm sure there are accurate ones out there.

Buy a -3AN or -4AN stainless steel braided line.

I have electric oil temp and oil pressure. They both work perfectly. They are autometers. Oil pressure goes up and down in unison with my tach, I couldnt ask for fast response.
