Accord homemade turbo question
Ok - so now I've been inspired to go out and make my own turbo set up after playing with a few friends that bought the kits for $4k. I have a 94 Accord EX with a f22b1. So I've made a preliminary parts list of what I have/ am getting - please comment and tell me what I forgot:
DSM 1g eclipse turbo and BOV
Starion FMIC
Custom done piping and oil lines
Apexi VAFC running 450 cc DSM injectors
Custom downpipe and 2.5" exhaust
I guess I just need to find a header for cheap that fits onto the f22b1 without much modification and an adapter plate for the DSM turbo. This is only a grocery getter so I'm looking for like 6~8 psi. Any suggestions?

Re: Accord homemade turbo question (teamlegacy)
i have a 95 f22b1 with the TSI extreme stage 2 kit. comezs with garrett t25bb, chrome everything, steel braided lines, BOV, FMU, FMIC, injector block, injector controller computer. i saw the kit on sale at needboost.com for 2G's. i got lucky and got the kit for 1500. i'm still tuning but it spools up pretty damn fast. it's perfect for daily driving and grocery getting. it also beats trying to find a manifold and fabricating an adapter plate while trying to make everything fit right.

Re: Accord homemade turbo question (boonacka)
I'd like to spend 2g's on the turbo, but I'm a college kid and honostly spent 2gs getting the car. I've seen people doing them for 800~900 for the little amount of boost I want to push into the accord. Really, it's a learning experience for later projects that I have in mind, and I don't feel like spending a couple thousand. I already spend a couple thousand going to college.
