Im building an d16a6 block with a y8 head for turbo and i had calculated my compression using a6 pistons and rods and managed to get it to 9:1 but then i thought it might be better to use y8 rods and pistons (rods should be the same) to match the dome to the combustion chamber and this should give me the advertised compression ratio for the pistons? From my research the blocks have the same deck height. Is there any reason why i cant use y8 parts and do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks? Eagle rods, cp pistons
