99 civic ex sedan turbo
hi guys, got a question. i have a 99 civic ex sedan with a d16y8 with a t25 turbo kit, skunk2 intake manifold, and i got 290cc injectors from a 98 prelude, mines are 240cc and im only looking to do 6 to 7 pounds. im about to get a 255 fuel pump, and i have a fmu on it right now. i want to know if a basemap on a p28 is good or better take it to a dino? im not going crazy because is a daily driver car and i dont beast on it at all. my shop for the tune is full throttle, if someone has tune with them before please let me know. thanks

Re: 99 civic ex sedan turbo
FMUs are junk. Get something like Hondata or such to tune it. It sucks spending the money on it, but Crome has some drivability issues. And you can forget a dyno tune at least for a while because they only tune for full throttle. You'll have to street tune a lot for a daily driver to get part throttle tuned in right.
You'll have to start with the p28 basemap, adjust the injector trim, and then work off of that. The map will need tweaked in plenty of areas.
