Default 99-00 CIVIC SI Converting to OBD1, 02 sensor?!

Okay, so i have ran into another issue. Any info will be of sure help everyone!

So car, 200 civic si, I ordered a Down Pipe For my turbo kit, an realized once it got here that there is no where to screw in my 02 sensor that goes on my down pipe!

So... my Question is

Q-Sense im going to OBD1 will i need to run that 02 sensor?

i have the one on my cat still...

Also, i think its the Air Temp Sensor that used to go onto my cold air intake, right up front near the throtle body.

I was looking at my charge pipe that going to my throtle body, an realized that there is no where for me to put it.

So....

Q-Sense im going to OBD1 will i still use this sensor?

Q-will i need to drill a hole in my Charge pipe?

i hurd/seen the obd1 air/temp snesor an it screws in, vs the 2000 civic si air/temp sensor just plugs a hole.

thanks everyone for reading, any info an knolage will be of great help!!

Your going to need one o2 bung on your downpipe even though your converting to OBD-1.

Your car currently has one o2 in the exhaust manifold and another one in the cat.

Converting to OBD-1 elimates the one on the cat, but you still need the primary sensor.

On the IAT sensor. You can put it on your charge piping, but I'd change manifolds and run a ITR style intake manifold. (skunk2, itr, blox, edelbrock, etc etc). Thats just me. I'd rather have a sensor on the manifold than the one like our obd-2 Si's have.

(I've recently converted to obd-1 on my Si)

thanks alot man! good info!

Yeah, i see what you mean about changing Intake Manifolds. Looks like the Right way to do it. I dont like the fact i got to Put a hole in my Charge Pipe, could be trubble down the road for boost leek.

Has anyone ever put a IAT sensor on there charge pipe? any pics?!

So i will only need to run ONE 02 sensor with OBD1? Could i just Plug the 02 sensor that Normaly goes to my down pipe into my test pipe?

any info helps! thanks for readin!
