Default 98 gsr greddy kit install

ive got a 98 gsr with a built bottom end. just put on a greddy 18g kit and it runs incredibly hot ( as in almost all coolant boils out of the overflow. i have no a/c, so the radiator is not blocked, and also i tried taking out the thermostat). im running about 9.5 psi, non-intercooled. i know youre thinking "retard" but bear with me. im not really feeling any power and i think its detonating. can anyone explain how the vaccuum lines should be hooked up? ive got the wastegate, blow-off valve (hks super-sequential)and boost gauge all t-d into the vaccuum fitting on the back of the intake manifold, beyond the butterfly valve. i dont have any check valves inline, are there supposed to be any? these might sound like stupid questions to some of you, but i need to know this stuff. thanks

Tap your lines into your vaccum hose that comes off your fuel regulator. Check valves aren't needed if your using the blue box that came with the kit.
