Default 96 civic ex turbo hesitaion/cutout

Hey guys I have a 96 Honda civic turbo. D16y8 on 12psi. It runs great until im at full boost. At 12psi it will have a hesitation/flat spot. I looked at my plugs and they were a little white. Then noticed they were the stock plugs. I have some brk7e ngk plugs in going to instal and see if they help and gap them to .030. From my research this all sounds correct. The white on the plugs is my concern. Could the white be from having to high of a heat range or possibly the distributor timing? Thanks all! Ill update when I have time to install the plugs tomorrow.

The gentlemen i bought it from says it was. It does have some sort of launch control so my guess is yet. But no proof.

might be a basemap, or tune from a different car.
you should get it tuned.

Yep, you should definitely verify the tune. What are your afr readings? What map sensor do you have?

your ECU has basemap that cuts off at 12# it's normal but doing this repeatedly before tuning will harm your engine.
