Default 95 Accord f22b2 PSI question

Hey all like the title says i have a 95 4door accord with a garret t3 .48/.42 6x22x3 1/2 intercooler and am currently boosting 5psi of boost with a base map. Im using and apexi afac2 and a msd BTM to help the detonation out along with dsm 440cc injectors. Last time i did a compression test all cyclinders were fairly equal except for cyclinder 3 which was no more than 6 lower that the other cyclinders but this was before the turbo. the engine has 97,xxx miles on it and is all stock and i know it has a compression ratio of 8/8/1. On monday im going to get it dynotuned and i want to put to boost up to 10psi or possibly 12psi. This is a daily driven car and starting augest will be going about 20 miles two times out of the week for school. Would it be safe to run the engine at 10 or 12psi with proper tuning? I want to know from the experts before i do something stupid. Thanks in advance.

i would recommend up to 10psi with good tunning, anything over that and your really at risk. The f series block is strong and can hold more but unfortunatly the internals cant.

ur at risk if ur detonating! other than that, IMO, u should beable to push it lil further than 10psi. but it is bout the power n not the boost. example.......i was able to run 17psi with out my F23 blowing. i ran 10psi for a year then worked my way up to 17psi with the engine not busting. i don't know bout everyone else, but the F-series engines dont like much timing in boost. either that or its just mine doesn't. But i only know one other guy that has pushed a F23 that far and it survived just like mine. we're both running the AEM EMS. he says he slowly over takes stock SS @16psi, @14psi i was damn near side-by-side with them on the highway.

just keep it from detonating, and dont shoot for too much power. i'd say shoot for 250whp, maybe a lil less and the engine should be aight for awhile.

Do you guys think the MSD Boost Timing Master I have will help with the detonation issue and make it safe to be boosting 10 or 12 psi in conjunction with proper tuning? Most of all i want a stable engine that can survive this semester of commuting for school.

well if your going to use the afc for tunning than u will want something to retard the timing , the msd will work, u can do more than 10 psi like ron said, but its really just the tunning that will keep it from blowing , and anything over 12 psi your going to have trouble with cause your stock map will see boost

+1

firm believer in aem ems...wouldn't have it any other way

with proper tuning, anything up to 10 psi is safe in my book. msd 6a is also recommended...don't cut corners and have it done right and you should be fine.

im boosting 10psi on a t3 60 trim .48/.42 on my stock f22b2 since march about 7-8k miles tuned with uberdata. no problems other than my valves seals leaking which is totally unrelated.
