93 coupe with d16z6 swap and edelbrock turbo kit...
ok i searched i only found 2 things about it but nothing good in those posts, my question is with a fully gutted coupe and a d16 z6 motor and a edelbrock turbo kit, is it going to be faster than like a civic with gsr? my tech part of the question is edelbrock new track turbo kit says on a d16z6 at 20 psi it had 282 whp... well if i was just shooting for like 13 psi and 230whp what would i be running? because if a gsr motor only has like 155 whp would i be alot quicker? i just want to know what kind of times and boost i can run... i would also run hondata with rc injectors and walbro fuel pump. sorry if this sounds like a newbie question but i am really trying to see what the best route is... also does this swap go right in a 93 coupe? let me know and please alot of help and advice is needed. im about to get this project underway very soon!

Re: (H22BuiltEGhatch)
Im not very familiar with the edelbrock turbo kit but even a junkyard turbo kit on a z6 in a 93 coupe should beat a gsr hatch. Ive heard good and bad things about the edelbrock kit, it sounds like an all around "alright" kit (im sure many will agree and disagree) but either way you shouldn't have any problems meeting your goal with that kit.
On a side note, if it were me... id search for a used greddy, or idealy speaking, a used apexi sohc turbo kit, add hondata, injectors, maybe a bigger turbo, turn the boost up and get tuned, im sure you wont have trouble rapping a gsr hatch than
EDIT: BTW a z6 is a direct bolt into any 92-95 civic chassis.

not to be an ***... but if you're still asking whether or not the civic dx came with a vtec motor... i think you need to do some more searching, and probably shouldn't be worrying about FI.... especially at a 20 psi level.

i thought u were doing an h22 swap? check out the link in my sig for my setup. btw.. dont spend all that money on an edelbrock kit. Mine was way less and just as good. A friend of mine spent way under $400 for his junkyard turbo kit and is keeping up with my car (both untuned w/afc hack). Just search alot and read everything u can. Click on the link in my thread about the jc whitney piping it'll help u out.
