92 civic si hatch d16z6 stock .... turbo ?s
I got a 92 civic hatch si with a stock z6 in it. I would have put this in Forced induction section but it wouldnt allow me. Im getting bored with my car right now and want to do something to it. I am wanting to turbo it but i have some questions about it. I have done research but really havent found any specific awnsers. I have the FMIC and piping, BOV, and Manifold. I know i need to get a turbo, wastegate, downpipe, oil feed and drain line kit, trubo flange, and wastegate flange. Also going to have to get it chipped and tuned, also boost gauge. Is there any thing else i need ? I know wastegates have springs in them for running amount of boost to the turbo, but does it matter how they bolt up or are they all universal? IS a t3/t4 turbo my best bet turbo wise ? And any other info you guys can give me ?
OR what else should i do like a mini me swap or b series swap bc i figured it would cost me like 620 bucks to turbo my hatch.
Before i put the turbo on i have to replace my head gasket and studs.

Do some more research if you're asking questions like this. Read the FAQs. Then when you're finished reading them go back and read them again.
HTF do you figure that?

hahah thats an excellent way of putting it. i cant believe how bad its getting with people not doing any research before they start posting up like crazy.
dont tear the engine apart if it has good compression and leakdown. and you will absolutely need to upgrade your clutch
