92-95 Civic, B18C1, Turbo clearance problems with A/C condensor fan...
Anyone here had any experience with this? I had no luck doing a search.
I want to use a puller FAL fan on my A/C condensor, but the condensor does not mount to the core support directly like a radiator does. The condensor is mounted to the fan shroud, and the shroud has the stand-offs like a radiator to mount to the core support. Without the stock Honda fan shroud, there is no way to attach the A/C condensor to the core support...unless I build some custom bracket.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks. Tom

If you need to mount it, just run zip ties through the core to secure the fan. Simple, effective, cheap

Order yourself a p54 bracket. It will allow you to use your civic compressor with the b-series block. I just order mine from hondaautoparts.com. The part number is 434544. It came in last week and I am in the process of taking my GSR compressor out and putting my old civic's back. I trial fit the compressor to the bracket and it all lined up. As for the condensor, well...I haven't gotten to that part yet. But I trial fit and it seems to fit ok...You may need to move your turbo housing around if possible. Just curious of why do you want to use the FAL fan instead of the stock fan??

i could not possibly stand no AC out there.
get creative, try to make some brackets out of home depot parts, or use zip ties, etc
