Default SOHC turbo setup questions

hey guys im planning on boosting my 91 civic hatch....right now i am running a d16z6 (single cam vtec) running a PG7 (obd 0) ecu with a vtec controler for the vtec, the motor has about 100k miles on. Im also running no cat 2 3/4 exhaust piping. I just got a good deal on a turbo kit that came with the following:
-D series Greddy turbo manifold
-DSM TDO4H misubishi turbo
-Spearco Intercooler
-Vortech FMU
-Apex'p boost controler
-all piping
-Blitz blow off valve
-pro-comp boost guage
-oil pan with oil return fitting
-all oil lines
-a bird **** welded 1.5 inch downpipe which i will be replacing to a 2.5 inch.

pretty much everything needed to boost my civic....i know the turbo is pretty small but im trying to get the most power possible out of the kit...i was wondering if i should run bigger injectors, performance fuel pump, or anything else i should run to get the most power out of this kit any alterations i should make?. Also wanted to know if anyone was running a similar set up and times they were running 1/4 mile. Im expecting to hit atleast low 15's hopefully. Also keep in mind that the motor is pretty much bone stock. Wondering also how much boost i should run, i think the stock wastegate on the DSM turbo is set at 5lbs but i was planning on boosting 7lbs is that safe for my z6? any info would be greatly appreciated.....THANKS

your set up looks good. as for the injectors, you CAN run stock injectors on about 5-6lbs of boost, but it's still not recommended. I would actually suggest getting different fuel managment. you can get an afc hack, which is good up to about 10lbs of boost (still need bigger injectors) or you can run a program like turboedit, uberdata, or hondata. these would be better for your car. the best one would be hondata, but it would also be the most costly. as for the stock capabilities of the z6, in horsepower, it can probably stand up to about 200-220whp before serious debate on changing the rods and pistons. hope all that helps!

thanks for the info helped out alot but was wondering what exactly is a VAFC hack...is that just the VAFC itself running with bigger injectors so u can tune them instead of that FMU?

You can manipulate the fuel with the VAFC without the FMU doing it for you
