90mm TB turbo lag

If my full spool 3000rpm stock 60mm
should be lower rpm 90mm?

Re: 90mm TB turbo lag

Increasing the throttle body opening size will not improve the spooling of the turbo. Your throttle body should be the same size as your charge piping... a throttle body that is smaller than your charge piping may be a restriction when you are at or close to the limits of the turbocharger... reducing the chances that you will make peak maximum power.

For example, If you have 2.5" charge piping, the optimum throttle body size would be one with a 62-65mm throttle blade size. You would need 3.5" charge piping to effectively use a 90mm throttle body... and that size piping isn't needed until you exceed 1000 wheel HP... a 60mm turbo won't get anywhere NEAR that power level.

What do you think
300hp 8 psi intercooler
300hp 16 psi without intercooler/like almost antilag

AFR 10:1 for no knock problems?

^^ You need some kind of charge cooling if you don't run a physical intercooler and plan to run higher boost pressures. Turbo outlet temps get pretty hot. Otherwise you will just be leaving power on the table running overly rich and the ECU will be pulling timing over IATs. Water/methanol injection is a good solution. There is spool and response to be found without running an air-to-air intercooler setup. That's how I have my daily setup. No physical intercooler, WMI handles the charge cooling. With a 500cc nozzle it works great even in 90F+ degree ambient temps.
