90% of my stuff is here. One question though....master turbo???
Ok, I've been piecing together my turbo for my EM1 here and there. Ordered 550 injectors, missing link and an AEM FPR last night, so hopefully that stuff will show up soon. Also still waiting on a walbro 255. Anyway, here's how it looks right now
Exedy stage 1 organic
ACT Streetlite 12 lb. flywheel
Tial 38mm wastegate
Tial 50mm BOV
Inlinepro AC compatible cast stainless manifold
FastTurbo oil line set
Greddy turbo timer
Autometer Boost gauge
Autometer Fuel pressure gauge
Autometer EGT gauge
RevHard 2.5" downpipe
Tunertoys oil fitting adapter
Some off brand intercooler 31"x8"x2.5"
My question right now is......anybody ever hear of a master turbo turbocharger? I was under the impression I was getting a garrett turbo from cheapturbo.com but instead I ended up getting this thing. It looks identical to the one in the pictures on cheapturbo's site. Just not sure about the whole "master turbo" thing stamped on the side. Could it be a garrett with somebody elses stamp on it? Here's some pics of it.

Anybody ever hear of these things? How are they? Should I call and complain?

The thing is though, I ordered the downpipe for a garrett T3/T04 turbo and the pipe that showed up has the flange on it that mates up with that one perfectly.

Re: (IslandSi)
the MP turbos from brazil are the great the ones the ones from form thailand/tiawan are scrap becareful you can tell pretty quickly
all the MP get bad names becuz one company sells the taiwan t70 as mp turbo SSautocrap on ebay.
That turbo you ahve will require the merecedes style flange i know alot of guys are running the MP 60-1 wiht great success. They come with 1 year warranty.
All of there turbos come through miami distributor then spread across the country through individual distributors.

Re: (FwdCivicHatch)
I bought a Garret from cheapturbo. It was drop shipped from Garret with their name in HUGE letters on the side of the box. Did you specifically buy a Garret? That's kinda sketchy if you did. Here is the link to the turbo I ordered: http://store.yahoo.com/cheaptu....html

They are fair. They make them in south america. They have their own factory. I own one also ... cant say i am happy to say that. And, Well I guess i am not, bucause i am not going to be using it. I am buying a new turbo, ball bearing.
Try it, if it breaks, you can have mine.

I dunno wtf you guys are dissing them for, from everything i've seen of them their quality is superior to the **** turbonetics puts out.
FWIW, I have twin master power T70's waiting for my roadrunner. No, they arn't the shitty stone racing super T70's on ebay that arn't comparable to T70's, they're a real, honest-to-goodness 70MM compressor wheel equivalent to any Tnetics T70, ITS GT70, or PT70.
