9 psi ok with greddy kit
I was running 8 psi on my ls like greddy told me I should have, however I had stock exhaust. I put on a greddy evo cat back and a test pipe, naturally my boost increased a little. The wastegate on my car is set at 8 psi, so I cannot adjust it any lower. So now I am wondering if my car is ok like it is. Anyone care to comment on this?? I am in no real hurry to blow my stock motor.

Re: 9 psi ok with greddy kit (99lspwr)
well you should beable to adjust the internal waste gate arm to about 6.5psi is the lowest(i think)
well you should be fine as long as you don't boost every other coner/stop sign. Just drive it normally and keep the RPMs shift points lower.
Get it tuned asap for daily driving or you motor will not last.

Re: 9 psi ok with greddy kit (C5turbo)
If u mean adjusting the arm by turning the rod or the lock nut, I already did this. The lowest I could get the boost to go was 8 psi. Greddy also told me that 8 psi was where it should be, but that was with just the turbo kit alone, (no exhaust or test pipe), so naturally my boost went up a little. The car feels really strong right now, but I just do not want to blow it up...
