Default 8psi blow off valves

About to buy a new blow off valve since my current one is too strong for 8psi. Most of them specify up to a certain psi (25psi or 30psi) but how low of psi do they work at? Im looking for a rfl one and have researched and found that the turboxs is the loudest but will it effectively work at 8psi. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Is anyone currently running the turboxs rfl on an 8psi or lower setup? If so do you have and compressor surge?

Thanks

John

I thought I read the RFL was for 10psi and up. I dont know about that one, its kind of ricey to try to get the loudest BOV isnt it? I have a Apexi and its great, it doesnt whistle like the HKS and some others. Its all your own opinion though.

Yeah i also read that it works for 10psi and up but my car is very far from rice, i just like the sound, and people tht hear it know not to f**k with you lol. But yeah i had mixed opinions on whether it worked at 8psi. So basically im looking for an rfl bov that effectively works at 8psi. Let me know what you guys are running. i currently borrowed a turboxs blow off valve that sounds like a bird and sounds pretty gay imo .

Anyways lemme know what you guys are running and which rfl bov would be best for 8psi

Thanks agian

what brand of rfl do you have? I need one that eliminates compressor surge because i just replaced my turbo as a result of compressor surge taking out the bushings/bearings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here. Just looking for a brand of rfl bov that will effectively work at 8psi.

Thanks in advance

RFL is the model made by turboxs.... there is no other rfl bov.

all bovs eliminate compressor surge when properly adjusted.

So even though the turboxs one is for 10 psi upwards it can still be adjusted down to 8psi? Sorry for the dumb questions but i cant afford buying another turbo.

Thanks
