.84 hotside 1.00 a/r?
i recently picked up a turbo off a powerstroke diesel, and i was wondering how this would act on a 2.0 litre engine? my Friend has a sr20det and we were just curious how this would behave, but wanted some other opinions before we started all the work. thanks

i am surprised nobody flamed you yet...you need something smaller for a 2.0...a fat man can lose wieght faster than you can spool that turbo

yes i know i am lucky not to be flamed but the exhaust side is only .02 bigger than his stock turbo, we were just wondering what other opinions people had? it has to put out some kind of pressure even if 5psi full boost at 6500, we just wanted input on if it would be worth our while to attempt it.

Re: (quicksilver1689)
i have a 50 shot of nitrous. i cant find my camera, i was looking for it last night and couldn't find it. the compressor side has a 3inch inlet and about 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inch outlet. and the turbine side is just .84.

.84 is not too big for an SR at all. I run a .81 GT35R on mine. What does matter is the wheel and compressor housing.
If it came off a mac truck then Id guess its way too big.

Re: (boosted94cx)
how much do you guys think it is worth? or how much would you pay for it? has very little shaft play, and is clean.

+1 on the new wastegate thing.. it could be set at 20+ psi.
Diesel turbos can run you a pretty penny.. but basically the same price as a mid-sized BB turbo. 500-1000+ depending on the condition.
