Default 81mm HG on 81.5mm bore?

Guys

the title is pretty much self explanatory, however I'll give a bit more info. I got a built b18c6(edm). The cometic headgasket gave up on it andthe car started to use coolant. Leakdown confirmed cylinder three was where it was leaking. The bore on the car is 81.5mm with wiseco pistons. I requested a cometic 81.5mm gasket but the retailer sent a 81mm by mistake. My question:-

can I use the 81mm cometic gasket on my 81.5mm block?

Also have you guys had any problems with cometics?

I've used 81mm gasket up to 82mm bore. I prefer OEM gasket over any other.

yes you can run the stock gasket on 81.5mm bore. When honda rebuilds an engine nd uses overbore they use stock gaskets. ive been running stock gaskets in every motor with no problem and hundreds of other if nto thousands

Hmm so would this also work for the cometic 81mm gasket I have too?

Thanks for the reply, the head is going on tommorow so I need to be 100 per cent certain it'll work. So a 81mm cometic on a 81.5mm block.

I'd be content with your answer if I had a stock oem gasket, the one I have is a comtic 81 mm. Any different to oem?

yes the cometic will work but why spend 115 dollars when you can get a oem for 65 if its vtec or a felpro mls for 33 if its an Ls
