8 pound flywheel on auto turbo civic
I have a 99 civic ex automatic that has a garret t3/t04e turbo on it. I have 3 inch downpipe and 3 inch straight pipe. Im trying to get the fastest spool times i can with my auto. I know i need to convert to a 5 speed but i dont have the money right now. Would it be good to get a exedy 8 pound flywheel to help spool times or would it hurt me. Im also thinking about geting a 3000 stall. thanks and car is a daily driver

umm okay the stall converter is probably a good idea but you got a flex plate not a flywheel, your flexplate is probably less then 8lbs anyway but the TC is a heavy unit. dont waste your money on a torque converter if your building a race car, swap it to a manual. its cheaper thewn you think if you can do it yourself and you look around for the parts or buy a parts car.
