Default -6an to 14mm x 1.5 adapter for GT coolant fitting questions

I have banjo fittings, but I'd rather use -6an to 14mm x 1.5 adapters. I also want to use either aluminum or stainless steel. I've seen the fitting that ATP sells, but it looks like regular zinc coated steel.

If I buy these fittings from Earls, Russell, etc., they don't come with the o-ring. Could someone tell me what kind of o-ring will seal properly. Thanks for the help.

I just used a cush washer type copper gasket between the fitting and turbo...a -6 AN fitting was then used.....no leaks and looks great IMO....hopefully it answers ur quest...

You can kinda see the copper gasket to help seal the fittings.......

Thank you for the pics. That's exactly what I want to do, but are your adapters aluminum? What brand are they?

Thanks, but I know where to get them. I just want to know if it's safe to use aluminum, because I've only seen these adapters in steel.

I used honda oil drain bolt crush washers ( dont know if there's differences, but the ones for the D17/Kseries motors) under Earls fittings.... No leaks thus far in a year and a half.

You can also use a stat-o-seal.

the fitting your looking for is made by adapt all, my local aeroquip fitting reseller (moreland hose in NY) sells them to me for 5$ each. Atp has them here for more but they are very very nice.

stat-o-seal, FTW! I was hoping someone would suggest this type. I saw this type in the Goodridge catalog.

Thanks EdsGTI, that's the ATP fitting I was talking about. Unfortunately, it's "regular" steel. I think an aluminum Aeroquip fitting would be nicer, IMO.
