I've done a bit of research and have some more questions.

I currently have a DD/weekend track car that runs three different fuel maps. Depending on what I need
1. 91 octane pump gas for low boost DD (10psi 375whp)
2. mid boost pump gas (18-20psi 450whp)
3. track running Q16 (32psi 670whp)

I used the AFI sump kit to modify my stock tank and I currently have -10an hose feeding my A1000 pump and my fuel rail. I am just using the stock return lines.

I have been experiencing issues with my A1000 pump and I'm pretty sure its about to die. It is making random noises (different from the noise on startup) and from what I read this is pretty typical of these pumps being daily'd without the pump speed controler to reduce pump voltage for non-drag/all out performance.

My question is simple: utilizing my current sumped tank settup with an inline pump, what pump setup gives me the reliability to daily drive 1hr at a time plus have enough pump for 670whp?

Do bosch 044's have issues running at low throttle/rpm's like the A1000?
Is the bosch 044 inline pump a gravity fed pump? Or in other words does it have to be downhill from my AFI Sump?

No, thats the problem....didn't know I needed it until it was too late.......is that the case with ALL high horse power pumps? Needing a voltage controller that is. Even the bosch 044?

not as far as i know man the a1000 just runs a high constant voltage, and the regulator feeds off the tach spiking it up when need be this will allow it to run alot cooler at lower voltages where the fuel pressure isnt needed.

most pumps need to have max voltage to produce its max potential if you want a good track pump the weldon 2015 or 2025 is it

if you want a good street pump then bosh 044's are it or even a wally

if you want a indestructable pump good luck there is no such animal

A big Weldon inline pump like the A600-A or the 1100-A will do the trick. It will be a near straight replacement for your current Aeromotive unit, probably half the noise, and closest to the most reliable pump you can get.

I made 750 whp 575 tq last week on a 255 HP in tank, 044 inline (Both with dedicated power lines and relays).... -6 feed all the way from the tank and the stock return. 60 PSI base on Bosch 1100s.
