622whp UBERDATA tuned LSVTEC *MSPi/Turbo Dave Top Mount Manifold*
Here is the long awaited dyno of our top mount turbo manifold.
Motor specs:
84mm Golden Eagle Sleeves
JE 9.5:1 Pistons
Eagle Rods
JG Edelbrock manifold
1000cc injectors
Walbro 255
B16 CAMS
STOCK HEAD
Rocket Motorsports Gen1 Turbo Valvesprings and Retainers
MSPi/Turbo Dave Custom Top Mount Turbo Manifold
T3/T67 .83 A/R
Tial 38mm Wastegate
HKS SSQ BOV
Uberdata
Pics of the car:
Pics of the manifold:
PUMP GAS 93 OCTANE 20PSI:
RACE GAS 29PSI SAE:
STD numbers
Im thinking with ITR cams and a ported head he'll make 650-675whp. he also needs another Walbro pump, Fuel PSI was starting to not hold.
Thanks to ScttyDB411 for the Ubderdata Tuning

nice numbers on uberdata!!
but i think i would like to see it a little richer than 12:1 on the dyno with that much boost and that much power......
anyone else agree?

fuel pump problems as he mentioned above. all the money that goes into these set ups i cant beleive people try to push the limits of the walbro pump..makes me cringe.
i lost a motor to a walbro pump, so im a little afraid of them now
similar set up to what i had with a larger turbo, should go down the track fast

True, thats the main reason I took the walbro off my car. Powerband doesnt look all that great though, only 1500rpm of useable power....Yall should try a smaller a/r that it had and powerband should be better...Seems a little laggy with that housing...

What's up with this setup? My Brother's 81.5mm B16A motor spools up his T3/T67 HO quicker than this does. Check for a boost leak or something, because that turbo is spooling about 1500 RPM's slower than it should be.

Nice PEAK numbers, but sorry to say that the powerband isn't much. Also, i read on the other thread that your running 28 degrees of timing? If so, that is ALOT.
Anyhow, nice numbers and good luck with the car. Paul

YEAH NO **** LOL. SHOW US!!!
IM SORRY BUT THIS WHOLE 1500 RPM of usable power and spool time and blah blah is the biggest crap ever. this is one gear going from 2000rpm up. Do some people not realize that after first gear this graph means nothing, the power band COMPLETLY goes psyco? I drove it tonight and since its my car, ill tell you that it has a power band and its nothing like whats drawn out by this single gear dyno pull, LOL. Its a little laggy BIG DEAL, ive seen a lot worse.
and for the guy that said 28 degrees is a lot, i dont know how many high WHP cars youve delt with in tuning, but thats just the tip of the iceberg. haha. See you guys at the ****** track.

He already knows about the walboro and is planning to upgrade soon from what he said.
As for the "1500 rpms of usable power" I was thinking of your old dyno graph at 32psi and it looks really similar I think but I could be wrong. Here it is:
Not trying to start anything just wondering how you can be so negative when he did this whp with stock(non ported) head, stock b16 cams and stock valves at 3 psi less than yours? Just looking for some clarification

Re: (Suprdave)
you guys are talking about a RACE tune here, its not something that will be driven on or beaten on everyday, so you can run more timing. The same thing was said about his unsleeved block about it not being linear and the graph may have looked it, the powerband was very smooth.
The a/f ratio... we have 93 at EVERY pump and the temperature does not fluctuate that much. We will get some minor mods done, retune and then work on those 60 footers.

Nice setup, more fuel is mosdef needed but you already know that. And those are nice #'s for any ems.

Yeah, mine was done with a t4, and I knew right away that my numbers sucked cause of the powerband, I was somewhat dissapointed with how it went down...To those who think that powerband doesnt mean anything...I went faster when I had 561whp than when I had 641whp cause of the laggy turbo...Everytime you shift you gotta let the turbo spool so dont say that it doesnt matter cause its one gear only...Trust me I know, I learned it the hard way by chosing a turbo that was not the right size....All im saying is that I think you will see better results with a smaller a/r housing....If in fact this is a race setup than peak numbers dont mean ****, its the powerband that matters and how long of it do you have, when it reaches full boost....I dont think I was being negative just trying to give a advice, the highest my boost got to 32psi fluctuating up and down, wastegate wouldnt hold had a small spring in it....

he swapped out turbing housing immediately after the dyno LOL....
the t3/67 is laggy on that dyno... ours hit full boost about 6300rpm or so on 82a/r also..
