600whp gt35r dual wastegated civic coupe on the way
my name is mike and im buildilng a 1994 honda civic coupe. its brand new for the capital district in new york. it still has some work left to do and should hit the streets at the end of may early june.
heres the setup im gonna be running
1994 civic coupe
b18c1 engine
benson sleeved, cp pistons 84mm, pauter rods, stock crank, acl bearings.
applied flow head, ferrea valves, crower dual valve springs and ti retainers, 5 axis valve job and port and polish, combustion chamber reshaped to 44cc, and matched to the 84mm block, bronze valve guides and itr or ctr cams
gear speed tranny with a quaife diff, carbon coated synchros and gator stage 3 axles
edelbrock victor x manifold, str 70mm throttle body, aem fuel rail, regulator, and filter, 2x walbro 255 fuel pumps, one in line and one in tank, 8 point roll cage, hasport mounts, skunk2 cam gears, fluidyne radiator, wilwood 11 brake kit, tein suspension
still unsure of ignition setup looking to get something really reliable
turbo setup is going to be a gt35r with a t3 .82 a/r turbine section, t04s .70 a/r compressor cover, synapsemotorsport fabricated dual wastegate manifold, and 3" downpipe, 2.75" intercooler piping, 600hp precision intercooler, greddy typs rs bov, dual tial 44mm wastegates, precision 1000cc injectors.

you think he will reallyneed 2 44mm WG's?
I think its overkill. Seems like the new thing

No. Its to prevent boost creep.

he should only have boost creep issues running low psi, but by the look of it i dont think he'll be doing that very often haha. But it looks awesome good luck

Thats what I was going to suggest. If I were you I would definatly brace the wastegates if you don't want cracking issue's.I didn't have mine braced and the WG arm cracked within a month from the weight of the wastegate Since having it braced there are no signs of cracks at all,it makes a big difference.

yea i think the dual 44mm wastegates are way overkill esp for running a small intercooler. i run on 44mm and never leaked once. i can see maybe 2 38mm but its ur project still looks good but def get a bigger intercooler

im running a quad stage boost controller and hope to run as low boost as possible like 9-10psi, in first gear, then 12-15 in second, 18-20 in third, and 32+ in fourth. the manifold is still at synapsemotorsport, ill see if they want to add bracing to support the wastegates.
38mm wastegates come with econo valves, u can get race valves from a tial dealer which morgan is but i decided to get the twin 44s they look so much sicker too.

Correct me if I am wrong, but are you suggesting that intercooler size has something to do with wastegate selection? I don't get it
Also, I hope you are panning to ditch those seats. Get a proper bucket seat and a harness. If you ever wreck with out being properly secured you are going to get beaten to a pulp by those side bars.
