600+++ HP STREET CARS....HOW MANY ARE THERE......

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY CARS ACTUALLY MAKE OVER 600 IN A STREET CAR....NOT DAILY DRIVEN BUT DRIVEN ON WEEKEND AND MAYBE 1-2 TIMES PER WEEK......

I KNOW BUCK 02 MAKES 700 + WHO ELSE.....?????

MY CAR RECENTLY MADE OVER 600 AND I WOULD LIKETO KNOW HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE ACHIEVED THAT GOAL?

my old car was making over 600 and i drove it everday, jose's car makes over 600, chris from GR made like 640, motormatrix mike was making over 600 a few years ago and went to the races like every night, charles walker was making 656hp like 3 years ago in his integra and drove it everyday, his new car is making a lot more and is daily driven, chris green makes over 600hp and takes his car out to the races still. damn thats a lot of cars from just south florida.

i made 617.............spinning tire on the dyno.................................

so im pretty happy...................now i want 700....lol....j/k!

what can a 2600 lb hatch run with a little over 630 whp???

on a 26x10 tire???

Pro-Am FWD car. Rarely driven on the street, because I just don't trust "other drivers." Do not want to see my hard work shot down the drain because someones cell phone conversation was more important then watching the road.

I have a small motor, small turbo and not running a lot of boost. But I do have a pretty good power band that doesnt peak out.

No idea what the car ran, and mine is still in the shop getting the cage done and Twin Disc clutch installed. I couldn't wait to dyno it.

You can go really fast!!! haha

But from what I've observed, adding power doesn't make everyone power, most of the fastest FWD street cars, aren't making as much power as you. I know Jason Hunt was originally running 9's in his crx, and he was in the 500's.

Is all the weight that can be removed out of your car? Traction bars? Limit straps? You have to worry about boost control. See how much boost each gear can take as far as traction is concerned, make sure your not wasting time, spinning tire.

you have a good point, its not just power that gets you the e.t. it might net you some more mph. damian was making say 500-550 and went 10.92 my car was making just around 400hp and went 11.1 it has a lot to do with traction and other things. good luck with the 26x10 with your heavy car. it will be prone to breaking a lot of parts. why not stay with the 25's?

i need to get the car aligned and lightened.................and definitely work on my driving......

i studied the video of my 10.92 and noticed the car bogging heavily bewteen gears,,,,,

i know the car can lose about 100-150 lbs with some few changes........ hopefully i hit mid- low 10's....

yes, eg hatch....I spun all of first gear with a 1.8 60ft (all high boost pass)
yes I lift & shift...b16 tranny on stock diff & stock gearing
