Re: 60-1 opinions (DRAGLS)
I personaly think that is overkill. Cause my guess is that if your redline is at 7000- your not looking for big power either so why not get a smaller turbo, let it spool up faster and be in your power band for a longer time. Doesnt make any sense to run that size turbo with that redline, your just giving up time you could be at full boost.

Yeah what Mike said, maybe a T3/T04B with Super V wheel .63 A/R turbine housing, Stage 3 wheel. Even a T3/T04E maybe 54 trim and same turbine specs. Laskey Racing did some great numbers with a 54 trim

Do u guys think a 60-1/t3 stage v .63a/r is a over kill for an LS w/ a 6800rpm redline?
If not what are some ways to increase spool up on it even if it a few hundred rpm?

Yeah, we made like 445 hp at the wheels on that guys car with a t3-t4e with a 54 trim. Even thats pretty big for a stock ls. Maybe like a 54 trim. Why not have fun with the boost all through the rpm band then just have it come on strong at the top.

I like mike would tell you that the 60-1 is way over kill for your stock reving b18b motor and I would also recomend you going with either a 54 trim or if you really want a 57 trim but the 60-1 is very laggy up to 5000 or 5500 rpm depending on your other turbo components.
If street driving is mostly what you care about and ocasional track use I would just go with the 54 trim and be happy with it but if you want some more power go with the 57 trim...
Right now I personally think that the 60-1 is just totally hyped up because it kicks in so late and feels good when it does but what good does that do you when you only get about 1500-2000rpm of boost per gear, if you like to mess around on the street with your frined and wanna put down some vettes or whatever going with either the 54 or 57 trim would be the best thing you could do...
