Made some awesome power tonight. Not too concerned about the actual number, seemed like other cars to be on target for a dynojet.
84mm Benson Sleeved B18B
9:1 CP pistons, Eagle rods, ACL bearings, stock crank
Stock PR4 head, Crower 404 cams and springs/retainers
Go-Autoworks ramhorn, STC 62mm Reaper
PTE 1000cc injectors, Walbro 400, E85
27lbs of boost
Fuel is maxed. Injectors are at 120% calculated at a base pressure of 60psi.
Still not kinda happy about how unsmooth it is uptop. AFR's were 11.6-11.8 the entire time until 7700 when it crept up to 12.3's because the injectors are out of steem. Could be time for more ignition. Car is 100% street tuned by myself.
UPDATE - Now 600 whp!

wow ...my dream numbers!! i got 370 whp/320lbs(also b18b) and its freaky i just think about 567 whp in my hb ek 96...so the e85 help a lot to reach those numbers...with only 91 octane here ..really hard to reach this kind of number..maybe with meth..

Well done man, considering you've street tuned this yourself you've done brilliant. don't worry about that section up at the top end that doesn't look smooth. There is no way you'll feel it in the real world .

definately a job well done and a clean car as well, its totally something to be proud of. vids are awesome as well, gotta love smackin it down on big v8's
be careful with that maxxed injector business, keep that boost cut set. what tires are you using up front on the street to not just roast them

Thanks for love.
Tires are 225/45/16 Toyo R888. They work great once you do a couple pulls and get em hot!. Also very good in the rain and just normal driving.
Im gonna turn it down a psi or 2 if I take it out anymore. But bigger injectors are the plan next year. To be so close to 600 is unreal.
My goal over the winter to to rebuild the trans and new clutch and suspension to get this to put down more power. No point in trying to make more power if I cant use it. If I did, it would be purely bragging rights, and 4th gear freight training of course...lol

I love that you have the ***** to street tune that kind of power on the street. When you need to tune in 4th gear to avoid wheel spin thats when I take it to the dyno lol
What are you using for boost control? And could you post a screen shot of the log from that dyno pull of MAP pressure vs rpm (vs pwm?)

Yeah its taken me awhile to get it as good as it is. Will usually take it out after work during the week, hop on the highway 5 minutes away and some 60 rolls in 4th. People give me crazy looks lol

Nice numbers I'm pretty sure we are close to maxxing out stock head. It took me 35psi to hit my numbers but on gas. Interest to see some strip times out that thing. My times were at 30 psi and bad second gear shift so I know it has more in it. Good stuff.
