At 43.5 psi and a duty cycle of 90%, we rate our 580cc injectors at 100-hp apiece. This is assuming a BSFC of .50. Hope that helps.

o.k.
just got a couple of questions
1.what does bsfc? mean
2. is 43.5psi an average fuel pressure??
or is it a **** load of pressure
3. how much $ does the 580cc. run?
4. would it be alright to run an injector at 90% duty cycle
or is it going to go bad after a while because it is on the verge of it's maxium potential
thanks

Bsfc = brake specific fuel consumption OR how much fuel you're using per hp per hour.
A bsfc of .5 is usually used for NA engines. I think for turbos its something higher, I want to say .6 but I'm not sure.
90% duty cycle is 10% more than the advised maximum. I believe he's using this as an example of the max they can handle.
43.5 psi is what most injectors are rated at on the market. It seems to be an industry standard. So say you have 550cc injectors, that means your injectors will flow 550cc of fuel/hr at 43.5psi of fuel pressure.
someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

550's at 50 psi fuel pressure should do you for 400 whp with a good safety margin.
As for what the 580's the guy is selling go for, I think his contact information should be put in his sig
