475whp on stock sleeves....
posting info cause the car will be up for sale soon....
the car...
the motor...
block was up for sale a while ago but no one came through... had alot of doubters but this thread proves them wrong... cp pistons, manley rod, oem bearings, ge blockguard, ls block(stock ls sleeves), ls crank, vtec head, full race turbokit
the result...
car had more in it but we reached the turbo and boost controller limits... this was at 23-24psi... if i still have the car next season my 60-1 will be switched with a t3t67 and 500whp will be achieved... thanks to jeff evans aka boosted hybrid he is an awesome tuner and will recommend him to anyone who asks... i wouldnt normally post up this info but car is for sale...

I would have kept revving, I wouldn't be able to shut down with the power rocketing north like it was at 8500.
I spun my stock LS bottom ends to over 9k daily forever, no problems.

Re: 475whp on stock sleeves.... (HybridKOOP)
ran 12.1 untuned at 14psi... havent run it since tuning.. will have numbers soon... ill post them up... 8500 was what jeff suggested i stop at... it would have definitely made more power to 9k... the point of the motor is to last so to be conservative we stopped at 8500...

Just curious since you said you're not worried about releasing the specs..
What bore are you running.. 81.5 or 81.25? Also, is that a t3/t4 60-1? It looks like there's a decent amount of lag, but maybe that's just me. Either way, nice power! Good luck on the sale.

Oh I was hoping it was in there for a while. I am looking to do an LS/VTEC on stock sleeves hoping for 400 whp. Just curious to how long ppl have got this to last.
4500 is a pretty nice to hit full boost wih 23-24 psi. What was your compression?

Re: (Full-Race Javier)
Kinda off-topic: Javier, the 'full race' banner ad atop the honda-tech page isn't clickable for whatever reason. Just an FYI.
And for the numbers on stock sleeves

Re: (hondaguyef)
I am sure that I will regret making this comment but aren't you being kind of hard on that motor if you only had 300 miles on it?? or do you only break your motors in for 250 miles??
