Is a 450whp b16 possible on pump gas?
IM sure that tuning and The octaine of available gas would be the deciding factor. But if anyone can just give me examples of how much power they have put down only using pump gas Id really appreciate that. Thanks for any info

just the man i wanted to answer the question... How about 400whp ?
Mase... Is it just that range of power? or would it help to lower my hp goals on the small motor or keep the goals and Try going with a 1.8L

Yes typically, i tend to like to stay 400 whp and under on pump gas, but it really depends on how efficient and effective your setup. Most setups take over 15 psi on larger turbos. you have to retard the timing so much at those levels of boost, your temps get pretty damn high, I just wouldnt trust it, especially when most people have access to race gas.
You dont need more than 350 whp on the street anyways....
There are people making way more than 400 whp on pump gas, its just pushing the limits that I dont like, I like playing it safe, most people dont want to throw away thousands of dollars...

I always hate these, How fast would I be with such and such. But what kind of traps are we talking about in an EK hatch with 350whp

Also... How easy is it to say with hondata or something to have two maps so I could run 350 or so on the 93 octaine and then switch the the Fuel map for Higher Boost for the Race gas?

very simple, i do this for a lot of the people.
typically its the ignition timing thats whats so different between the race and pump chips

Re: (b18c1hooptie)
I made 480 to the wheels on 93 octane at 20psi & 653 whp at 26psi on 108 octane
with a 60 shot, so yes it very possable & yes thats on a b16.
you'll be pushing the limits but it sure is fun...
