441 whp, stock sleeves, stock bore, small turbo, B18c
After SFP screwed making me drive 9 hrs for nothing I made the right decision and took my car to Mase in Jacksonville.
Here is the setup:
B18c1
-- 9-1 CP pistons/Eagle Rods/Victor X Intake manifold/Lovefab sidewinder manifold /
Arp Head-studs(stock sleeves)
-- 3" Down-pipe/3" Moroso Spiralflow resonator/3" mandrel exhaust/open
dump-tube/ Tial 40mm waste-gate(0.8 bar spring)
-- Built Head/ Supertech valves/ Titanium retainers/Dual Valve springs
-- Garrett 4 bolt t3/t4 turbo// 0.60 AR Compressor/ 0.63 Turbine
housing
-- Custom 2.5" intercooler pipe/ Custom Spearco 3.5"X12"X20" intercooler
-- Hondata s200
I made 280whp @ 10psi 93 octane
354whp @ 14psi 93 octane
376whp @ 17.5psi 93 octane
441whp @ 24psi 50/50 mix of 93 octane and 110 = 101 octane
Overall I'm pleased with the results because I went with a really conservative tune, it was a 95 degree hot muggy day, and I Had 2 limiting factors:
Stock sleeves
t3/t4 turbo// 0.60 AR Compressor- 57 trim wheel / 0.63 Turbine
We made 2 chips one for race gas and one for street with fuel cut at 18psi.
I had leftover race gas in my tank so naturally I had to leave that eprom in for the 2 hr drive home. I don't like speeding on the street but I had to blip the throttle a couple times on the highway away from traffic. OMG!
My eg civic is pulls insanely quick to 150 without hesitating.
I definitely need a LSD. Torque steer is a bitch. My AVCR began to flutter past 22 psi, maybe the rumors are true? I'll find out.
I tested Cam gears and different exhaust evac setups.. will post the results late when I have time.
Time to get some slicks and go to the track finally.

I'll post pics tomorow.
My intercooler piping is 18" long on the hotside and almost 3 feet long on the cold side.
My throttle response is excellent.

good job! i have a very similar set up with a slightly larger (60 trim) turbo and was planning for a little over 400 with some 104 octane, looks like it shouldn't be a problem. how much timing are you running up top with the race gas mix, and how much with the 93 tune?

did you go with straight 110 or a 50/50 mix like I did?
Damn, i wonder what i could have done with an sc61 and straight 110.

I dunno, the timing off the top of my head, it was conservative though...
Can I use the Hondata demo software with a laptop and eprom reader to get my timing maps or do I have to fork out the cash for their software to read the maps?

hehe.... from the outside looks stock, flat black, painted intercooler, no stickers.
Unfortunately I'm going to buy a vented CF hood to keep my engine may temps down. . They are too high because of that damn Tubular Manifold even though everything is ceramic coated, i use an oil cooler, and fluidyne radiator.
I forgot to give props to Velocity Trends in Jacksonville. Thanks and nice shop!

Yep, I knew the more experienced members would need that number placed in bold.
I'm going to run this turbo into the ground then go with a gt35r with 4" dp later and maybe get around to sleeving my engine.
I regret not doing it to begin with.

yeah, you should be able to read the chip and open the .bin in the demo software, not sure though, i don't use hyundaidata.

my lsd does not eliminate torque steer... actually it made it ten times worse... now my car is all over the damn road...

yep, w/ the open diff at least only one will spin insanely and you can control it. With the LSD both tires spin out of control .
Sick Numbers. Good luck at the track.
